Today for Literacy, I read about Volcanoes that are located underwater. Something I found challenging was creating the glossary. Something I found easy was reading the information. Have you ever climbed Mt. Wellington before? Here is my activity below!
Undersea Volcanoes. 6/8/2021.
The main group of people were the CSIRO and a British sea captain. The key things were about undersea Volcanoes and Christmas Island.
This event took place in Christmas Island because that's where most underwater Volcanoes are. This event took place on 29th of July 2021.
Glossary.
Annexed - add as an extra part especially to a form.
Tectonic - A tectonic plate in the Earth's crust. It mostly creates Volcanic eruptions and Tsunamis.
Caldera - A large crater made by a violent volcano which causes it to go into depression.
