On the 19th of April 2021 me and my family decided to take a day off. So we went to a cafe in Mission Bay. After we went to the cafe we went back home and relaxed for the rest of the day. On Friday 16th of April 2021 I started my first part of the holiday project. When I first started it looked easy but until reality came, it took me 6 attempts to just get part done. Something I found really difficult was creating the holiday project.

On Wednesday 14th of April 2021 TWP 4, some of TWP 8 students and I were getting ready to go to the Ki O Rahi tournament but then it was canceled because of the rain and thunderstorm. Our teacher (Miss Nees Kairua) decided to give us each scene from 'How Māui slowed down the sun'. First our other teacher (Miss Palu) weaved the paper, after we connected our two weaved paper together we drawed our scene that we were given. Here is the link to my part!
Māui wanted to slow down Tama-nui-te-rā because he was moving to fast during day. Māui's brothers did not want to join because they thought they would burn and die. They approached Tama-nui-te-rā at night because they didn't want to be seen. This story is a legend because it happened in real life but many years ago. Yes, because Tama-nui-te-rā was moving so fast and was not thinking about the people who didn't like that he was moving slow. Here is my activity below!

Introduction.
On the 6th of January 2017 me and my Family went to the beach in Lapaha, Tonga. I could feel the wind blowing in my hair! When we finished decorating our space I helped my uncles cook the food. I could smell the smoke from the umu.
When me and my uncles put the pig on the stick, my siblings and cousins all jumped into the water. I could hear the humongous waves hitting the humongous rocks. When I came out of the water I saw my uncles playing rugby so I decided to join.
Me and my cousin were tired so we jumped back in the ocean which we nearly got hurt. When it was the afternoon we ate our food. I could taste the delicious food in my mouth!
When it was evening we ate our dinner. AFter we ate our dinner we packed up and drove back home. I could hear the tyres running over the rocks but it was oddly satisfying!
Godzilla vs Kong
On Tuesday 6th of April 2021, my brother, dad and I went to go watch a movie called ‘Godzilla vs Kong’. When it was 2:10pm we drove by car to the Hoyts Cinemas in Sylvia Park . I felt excited when we entered the cinemas because I haven’t been to the movie’s in a long time!I could see the popcorn in the
machine and I felt happy because I hadn’t eaten popcorn in months! When we sat down on our seat’s my brother accidentally spilled his drink. I could smell the flavour of the drink because it was underneath me and that made me upset!
When we were half way through the movie there were funny scenes that the crowd in the movie theatre laughed at. I could hear the crowd laughing when the funny scene showed on the screen and that made me excited!
After the movie finished I had a good stretch then I felt a bruce in both of my shoulder’s. I could feel the injuries in my shoulder when I stood up and that made me feel hurt!
When we arrived at the car we thanked our dad for taking us to the movies and drove back home exhausted!
I was happy and excited when we spent the evening at the cinemas!
I could feel the car door and that made me happy because I could go back home!
On Friday 26th of March 2021 we arrived at Mount Wellington War Memorial Reserve. I could feel the bus handle and that made me excited for the games! When we jumped off the bus we found a great place to sit up our tents. I could feel the tarps and that made me happy for coming!
Our first game was against St Pius A, it was a fun game but my team (St Pius B) lost to team a. I felt upset because we lost! Our next game was against Parnell School, we lost by two point's to Parnell School and that made feel really angry because we lost two games in a row!
Our third game was against Parnell School again, we also lost that game which my team was really upset. I felt angry because we lost our third game! Our fourth game was against Panmure District and Surprisingly we won against Panmure District. I felt happy because we won our first game!
When it was the fifth round it was time for the relay race which the coaches and teachers won. I felt sad because Saint Pius X lost the relay race! Our fifth game was against Syvlia Park, sadly Syvlia Park was way to good which we lost again. I felt angry and sad because we didn't win!
Our last game which was for SPX B was against Parnell School, sadly we lost our last game. I felt angry because we lost our last game for ARL Kiwi tag! When it was round seven we watched the girls and boys play their final games. I felt happy for the other teams because they had one more round to play!
After awhile we jumped on the bus that takes us back to Saint Pius X. I could hear the bus doors close and that made me exhausted! When we arrived to my school I felt tired and fell to the floor! I could feel the ground and that made me more tired! When my parents arrived I told them what happened at the tournament while being exhausted!
