La Palma Volcano Eruption.

The main people were the citizens of Canary Island, Spain. The key things are about the La Palma volcano erupting and it is only 1 kilometres away from the sea. This took place at Canary Island, Spain. This took place on September 26th 2021. 

 

 

 

Catholic School Day.

Rātu I Tuesday.

This week is Mental Health Awareness week. This week it is all about taking care of our health. Mental health is an illness and can be debilitating for lots of people. Some times we can't control or explain our thoughts, feelings or emotions. Some ways we can help our mental health is by going outside, taking a walk, talk with a friend, to take time to yourself, playing outside with our brother and sisters, going to sleep early and doing a little bit of fitness. Today is Rātu or Tuesday.

I can SEE  the sun reflecting on the tree leaves. 

I can SMELL fresh, wet and soft grass that was cut yesterday. 

I can FEEL the green chair which feels relaxing and nice. 

I can TOUCH the grass with my feet which is nice.

Adrift

On a rainy day it was cold, the world ended. Some of the land broke into pieces. A boy called Jeff and his family were all stuck on a piece of land. Jeff is a person from Mexico and sometimes people think he is a meme.  But unexpectedly an elephant recently called Jeff jr was on the small piece of land. They had no home so their home was on Jeff jr. They found wood on the ground and built their house on top of Jeff jr. 

Jeff jr was a very big animal so they could build a house on top of him. They balanced their house on top and a metal pole was balancing it on it’s side.  For months and years Jeff’s family have been living on Jeff jr. They have been improving their house for years and have finally finished. Their house is enough to fit twice as much of the family. Now they wait to be found and to reunite with humans and animals.

Father's Day Term 3 2021.

 Today for Writing, I have wrote about Father's day. Something I found difficult was creating this blog. Something I found easy was writing down my information! Have you ever celebrated Father's Day with someone in your family? Here is my writing below! 

Fathers Day 2021.

On a sunny day, me and my family celebrated Father’s day. When me and my siblings woke up we said ‘Happy Fathers Day’  to our dad. We bought him presents and made him breakfast and lunch. After a while we celebrated with our family. Before we ate our food we said a prayer to bless all the dads in the world and our grandma who is currently in Hospital.   

When we finished the prayer, my uncle and aunt's husband made a BBQ. After 20 minutes the BBQ food was ready. When the food was ready we all gathered in the kitchen.  There was chicken which was spicy , pork which was also spicy and there was steak which was my favourite.  

When I brought my food down to the lounge I watched the All Blacks vs Australia game with my family. It was a close game for Australia but the All Blacks won. The score was 38 to 21. When it was around 9:30pm I had a shower, brushed my teeth, said goodnight to my family and then jumped into bed. I then wondered in my head how my day was!

 

Current Events Term 3 2021 - Rattlesnakes' Rattles.

 Today for Literacy, me and Twp 4 have been reading and learning about Rattlesnakes. If you don't like snakes I prefer you not look at the pictures below. The main group of people is scientists from Austria and volunteers for their experiment. The key thing was about the Rattlesnake scaring people with their rattle. It is also about their family and life, this event took place in Austria. This event took place on August 26th 2021.
