The US Election-Term 4 2020.
America’s president is described as the powerful person because he/she can control the military, America has one of the strongest Military in the whole entire world, one of the biggest economies in the world and the president can control the whole America Navy.
Did you know that the two main parties in Usa are Democrats which is blue and his team biden and the Reprepublican which is red team and team trump.
The American election takes place every four years. Electoral college means 50 states have to vote for Biden or Trump.To win to be president you need 270 votes or over to be president of America.
Donald Trump complains that he didn’t lose the election and he is still president of America but Joe Biden is now America’s new president.
Donald Trump is a controversial figure because his
non- presidential manner and blunt-speaking. Joe Biden didn’t have much gathering because he wouldn’t want anybody to have Covid-19.
Mr Trump’s detractors claim to say that he is an embarrassment. It may
have to decide whether the disputed
vote counts should stand or not because this happened 20 years ago.
Newspapers and news channels say that Donald Trump would lose the election and he did. The winner needs to be confirmed before 20th of January. Mr Trump picked a fight with China because he believes China is treating America unfair. Alaska only had 3 electoral votes in total.

On the 4th of December 2020 me and Twp 5 learnt about Religious
Education. We also learnt about the Liturgical Year. Before we began
our learning we did a quick activity recapping about what we know
about the Liturgical Year. Here is activity below.
The liturgical year begins each year on the first Sunday of
Advent.
The penitential or preparation seasons of the Liturgical year
are spread over 2 blocks, after Easter and after the Epiphany.
The colour you would see featured in church decorations
during ordinary time is Green, the colour of hope.
In the homily hymns and scripture reading for advent the theme
is repentance, fasting prayer and giving to the poor.
The Sunday scripture readings are set out in a three year cycle-
Years A,B,C.
The liturgical cycle of the Catholic Church is shared with?
People in the Liturgical Church community.
The season of Lent begins on? Ash Ash Wednesday and last
6 weeks ending on Holy Saturday, Saturday before Easter.
Ordinary Times lasts for 34 weeks in other Christian churches
with a few exceptions.
The liturgical feasts and seasons are celebrated by People
in the liturgical celebrations in church communities.

Trip To Emirates Team New Zealand Headquarters.
On the 25th of November 2020 Twp 5 & 4 went on a trip to Emirates Team New Zealand Headquarters to learn about the boats and the America’s Cup that would take place in 2021.
When we arrived at our destination we started our first activity. My group learnt to drive robots with an ipad on a map. We were pretending that the robots were the boats that will compete in the America Cup.
We drove our robots on a map of the race course that the boats will be driving in the America Cup. First my team won then the other people won. I felt happy and excited driving a robot and competing with other schoolmates in a race.
When it hit 11:00am we walked back to the place we left our lunch then we ate.
I tasted the tasty chip that went through my mouth.
When we finished eating and drinking we went into the other room. The second activity we did was going through a room so that we could see the wind from outside. We could move the wind by moving our hands and our body by just in that room.
The third activity was when we stranded on a map and saw what the race course would look like. When we moved onto the fourth activity it was when we could play this video game in which you can drive the NZ boat with the gears like the steering wheel and to lift the boat to go up and down.
The Fifth activity was when we could take a photo with the team or with the America Cup.
I felt happy doing the activities! The sixth one was when you could create your New Zealand Emirates Team Boat and whoever had the highest won the challenge. The last activity was when we watched this movie when the Emirates team was driving the boat. I felt happy that I saw how they drive the boat!
When we were leaving we could take a group photo and it would stay on the ipads forever. When we went out of the room we packed all our stuff and jumped onto the bus.
I felt exhausted because we were singing songs on the bus and my favourite song was Old Town Road!
When we arrived at Saint Pius X Catholic School in Glen Innes we jumped off the bus and had 15 more minutes of recess because the bell was going to ring. When I got home I felt happy and exhausted and I hope that I remember to watch the America Cup in 2021!

Do you guys hate Cockroaches, well we do, Cockroaches have been in our world before Dinosaurs even existed, I also wondered how did they survive the meteor that hit the dinosaurs 66 billion years ago, did you also know that they might even survive until there isn’t a world, also what happened if Cockroaches took over the world, huh they won’t even happened, or will it, did you also know that Cockroaches can fit up to 5 cm.
My Labour Weekend.
On the 26th of October 2020 I went to Wildfire at Princess Wharf in Auckland, New Zealand.
Me, my aunt, siblings and cousin were sitting down at our table for half an hour because my uncle and grandpa went to pick up my grandma.
When my family arrived we started eating. The first course was fish then the second course was vegetables like broccoli and potatoes. When the lady came around with the beef she gave us a green and red block. If you don't know what the green and red is for I will tell you now.
Whenever you flip it to green the chef will keep on bringing meat to your table. If you flip over to red they will stop bringing you meat but when you want more meat you flip back over to green.
The meat I had was pork, beef, lamb, chicken, sausage and cow. The lady kept on bringing salad, muscles, salmon, vegetables and more fish.
When we turned the block over to red I went 2 laps around the buildings. I ran 2 metres two times.
When I came back inside we had more meat. After 10 minutes I was full so I went chasing my brother and cousin because they were on two motorbikes so I had to tell them to jump off the motorbike. When we were walking back I saw my sister riding on an electric scooter called Jump. we all took turns on it.
When it was my turn I wanted to see how fast it could go and it said 15 mph. After half an hour we stopped playing on it. My uncle scanned it and we left it.
We went back inside to grab my stuff because we were leaving. We were taking a family photo but then a man asked if we would take the photo so that my aunty would be in it.
We said ‘Thank you’ to him and then went to our cars. I went with my grandpa because I couldn’t fit in my mum’s car.
When I arrived home I felt tired and kind of excited for school. Have you ever been to Wildfire in Auckland before?
Xavier's Recount Writing Term 4 22nd of October 2020.
On the 20th of September 2019 me and some teammates went to Aston’s house. I was the first person to come to my friend’s house. When I came Lincoln came to the house. Me and Aston were playing Call Of Duty.
First I played on the trampoline in the thunderstorm with my other teammate Eli. We played wrestling. I won against him. When we went back inside the house we were all wet but lucky that there was a heater.
When I was playing call of duty Aston's step cousin Cooper, came to play with us. First we played tackling in the lounge like lions hunting for prey. I was tackling Cooper and the other three boys were me and Cooper down. But I had revenge.
Afterwards we were tired running around and playing with the Nerf guns, So we decided to play on the Xbox. I was around 7:30pm and Stewart went to buy us domino's pizza for dinner.
When they said we could eat, my friend and I ate one whole pizza. I was drinking the Sparkling Duet when the other four boys were drinking down the 2 bottles of Mountain Dew.
I was stuffed so I layed down on the couch playing with Lincoln on the call of duty game. I am actually good at playing call of duty when I’ve never played it.
Later on my Dad came to the house to drink with the other dads. When the dads left we went crazy like rolling down on the stairs and tackling each other hard as.
Cooper was just on his ipad playing games while we were being naughty.
Finally at 9:00pm my mum and brothers came to pick me up. I grabbed my bag and said goodbye and thank
you to everyone but not my dad because he is coming back to his house and he did nothing to me.
When I was in the car I said hello to everyone and told them what I did. I thought about that day and in my opinion I think it was awesome and tiring.
