Ash Wednesday 2020
On Ash Wednesday the 26th of February 2020 St Pius X School
all went to Church at 9 o’clock for ash Wednesday. Before we went
inside church we all lined up at the courts we all walked at one at a
time for each class.

When we walked all the way to mass we sat down on the chairs.
A few minutes later we all started to sing while Father Felise was
walking with helpers. When we finished the first song Father Felise
said a greeting to everyone and started talking about ash Wednesday.

When Father Felise was done telling the school about the starting of lent
he brought the bowl of ashes. He put the ashes on my principal,Mr.Tie
and people that help at the church.

My Principal and other people all put ashes on the school’s forehead’s
and the parents' foreheads then Father did the Holy communion some
us did not have holy communion yet so we stayed in our seats.
Father started to read a sentence out of the bible. Finally we finished off singing a song and we all went back to the St.Pius X Catholic School.
